Resume

Web site design has given me a way to combine several skills that I have used in other contexts and in earlier work experiences: Writing, editing, research, and love of language come from my academic life in the classics. Designing promotional materials, project management, working with clients, colleagues, and suppliers, and computer automation come from my career in book publishing. And years of studio art classes and collage-making provide the creative base. In designing web sites for businesses I find the satisfaction of blending together art, text, and conceptual design and the challenge of solving technical problems.
